Hi, My Name is Lucy.
I’m a Human Resources Consultant, An entrepreneur, a model, a fitness and Nutrition expert and a blogger. I’m Kenyan, a believer and a go getter. I love and enjoy working out, swimming, Dancing, yoga, music, movies, reading, traveling, the ocean, sunset, outdoors, good food, cooking, good wine, green tea, dressing up and cars. I collect perfumes, books, wine, bags and candles. I enjoy my ‘me’ time (a lot), I’m a feminist, Impatient, temperamental and very much afraid of heights.
I have battled weight issues and confidence since I was a teenager; by the time I left high school I weighed 80kgs, 6 months later I weighed 92kgs. This is when I decide to do something about my weight. I Enrolled in a gym and for 8 months of working out, I dint see any change, I thought it was the gym or the instructors so I moved to a new gym but still nothing changed then I realised I was doing everything all wrong.
I’ve created this blog because it is my deepest wish that I may be able to help someone somewhere struggling with weight issues. I want to help you find confidence in yourself and in your body through fitness and nutrition. I believe most people have no idea what they’re capable of, and when they find out, they enter a whole new era of self-love, empowerment, rising to the challenge and achieving what they thought impossible.
Maybe you’re here because you’re overweight and frustrated because you haven’t found success quite yet. Maybe you’re here because your doctor told you that you’re in danger of some serious health issues if you don’t make changes. Maybe you’re here because you just had a kid, and gained some extra weight, maybe you desire an amazing toned body, or you want to change into a healthy living lifestyle.
